Hello and Happy New Year! found your site while looking for a replacement manual for my 2101. I bought it new in 1994 & it is in MINT condition. Am dusting it off and plan to use it again in 2009. I have the ppc-210 upgrade and now have v.3.00.00a. Hope its okay to send you email and ask for answers. I already appreciate the data I've read on this site the past day. THANKS !

Hello, I have the GSP 2101 with all the bells and whistles but when I power it up, the groove tubes give off a faint glow you can barely see even in darkness, is this normal??? or do I need to change the tubes out, and do you have any material explaining how to go about changing the tubes in a Digitech GSP 2101. Thank you kindly in advance for your input......PEACE ~!!.......Rob.

I'm looking for service for my GSP 2101(300:00). I have the matching controller for it and although I purchased it used, it worked flawlessly for a couple of months. Recently I powered up the unit & it began to flash several unfamiliar parameters then froze-up stating "unknown analog param". If, when powering up, I immediatley press the function arrow to acsess presets I'm succsessfull but with no patch control with foot controller. Please, advise on my options to resolve. Thank you. Mike Gagne.

I have the 2101 studio that was upgraded to the 3.x firmware with the pc210 card. The pc210 card was sold before I got the 2101 and now my firmware is 2.01.01 .a

Do I have the artist patches? Or does the missing pc210 card mean I dont have them now.

The artist book shows 1 - 255 but I only have 200 patches and 100-200 repeat 1-100.

If I lost them can I download the artist patches somewhere?

Hello all,

I'm desperately trying to find the blueprint of Digitech GSP2101 just to find out what kind of transformer I'd need to get adequate AC current/voltage for its board input.
I'm from Finland, so the AC here is 230 Volts.
My question is: What kind of transformer (AC transformer output current/voltages, 220 V --> X Volts and Y Volts) do I need to replace the broken (blue smoke) old transformer?
The board has also the "Artist Pro" add-ons and thus it may need a bit more power than the original.
I'm very greatful for any suggestions and info, thank you!
This is for my brother's son who really likes the thing and he is - to my mind - a very promising young quitarist!

Best regards and thank for this site,
Matti

My gsp2101 is like my child and it is about dead. Has anyone made anything that even comes close? I even tried several different tube pre amps with the digitech 1101.

Hi
Dieter, congratulations, you have a nice site.
1959 was my first contact with decade counters, by the way a E1T. Almost 50 years ago.
Now I'm writing a paper about electronics applied to scientific equipments, so I would like to have your permition to get a few picturs.
Of course I'll mention this wanderfull site.

great site Dieter!!! ... My TSR24S has been dead for years, the dreaded 888 in the display. After reading your FAQ on it I re-soldered all points on the power supply board and it came back to life. I was getting ready to throw it out! ...

Thanks again!
